With an extensive musical educational background, Stephanie is well equipped to take your piano playing and singing to the next level. As well as teaching voice and piano, she also teaches composition and music theory. She is currently accepting students of all ages and levels at her home studio in the Gloucester area of Ottawa, Ontario.
Using the knowledge and techniques acquired through years of vocal study, including a B. Mus in Voice Performance, Stephanie focuses on developing in each student a healthy vocal technique whatever their musical singing style of choice. Stephanie aims to improve each student's vocal tone, intonation, and musicality by maximising the body's natural capabilities.
Stephanie also uses some of the latest in music technology within her lessons. With the capacity to record each student at her home using professional recording software and microphone, Stephanie can offer students a high quality MP3 or CD of their singing, a powerful tool for self-assessment on the part of the student. Also, live pitch assessment software used while a student sings offers the student a visual and auditory tool in self-assessing intonation and pitch problems.
Experienced with the Royal Conservatory method of teaching, as well as, other popular styles, Stephanie accepts students of all ages.
